Research shows that while 67% of gardeners are concerned about sustainability, only 30% consistently buy peat-free compost.
Our new guide provides clear, easy-to-follow steps to help bridge this gap, including advice on choosing the right compost, as well as addressing common challenges like overwatering, underfeeding, and storage issues. In addition it details a free advisory email service for extra support.
Peat extraction causes significant environmental damage, with over 80% of the UK’s peatlands already harmed. These vital ecosystems store carbon, support biodiversity, and regulate water flow. By choosing peat-free compost, gardeners can help preserve these critical natural resources and reduce their carbon footprint.
